Str.aat.art is a collaborative initiative between Charlotte Alice Martha and STR.AAT. Anchored in the city of Ghent, the project centers on uncovering personal stories connected to specific locations. Through in-depth conversations with local storytellers, these narratives are carefully documented and subsequently translated into site-specific public artworks in collaboration with emerging artists. Installed at the very locations to which the stories belong, the works render these intimate histories visible and accessible to a broader public.

Within this partnership, Charlotte Alice Martha contributes both as an artist and as a mentor, guiding and supporting the young artists involved in the process. Her role bridges artistic development and community engagement, fostering meaningful dialogue between place, memory, and contemporary artistic practice.

Str.aat.art has collaborated with several cultural partners, including MSK (Schoonvolk!), Littekens, and Broei.
